Course Placement Changes

Course change requests may be initiated by a teacher, student, counselor or parent. A student’s performance in present and past courses plus any relevant test scores and current progress can be used in deciding on a course change. The schedule change process should begin with a conversation between the student and teacher. Students and parents must be aware that the student’s schedule may change. In some cases, class size may prohibit the change.

Course placement changes may occur between the 9th and 11th week of the first semester.
