Deerprints is the student-run and student-produced newspaper and website which can be found at www.dhsmedia.org  People on staff learn to write and think like reporters, debating ethical issues to balance their roles as students and reporters. In addition, they gain skills in terms of thoughtfully designing content to best meet the needs and interests of an audience. Deerprints gives students a hands-on opportunity to make their voices heard while practicing writing and editing with high-interest topics. Deerprints is a fun, interesting way to be a part of a team that provides a valuable product for the entire community.
