The Warrior Hockey Foundation's mission is to provide a rigorous athletic program designed to create a fun, fair, and safe hockey environment which increases participation and improves skills, while developing respect, self confidence and teamwork in our student athletes. Our program will complement and support the students’ challenging academic program by teaching students to persevere, to work well with others, and to test themselves. Deerfield High School Hockey will provide an experience that fosters an emotional, physical, and intellectual foundation for growth and well-being. We believe that participation in hockey produces lessons that will be used in life as well as in competition.  Through consistent analysis and reflection, athletes come to a better understanding of their sport, teammates, and the spirit of competition. Spirit, loyalty, confidence, self-esteem and enjoyment of the sport are visible components of a positive experience.
