Human Rights Club

  • Human Rights Club seeks to promote and protect all human rights. Students research then share knowledge with the DHS community, promoting actions on behalf of victims of human rights violations. Members take action only on issues they believe in. The club is active all year. Students can join in whenever their time permits, and they can always be active via email and online options.

Meetings are held weekly on Mondays, after school in Q104, starting at 3:20.

Meetings start in late August and continue until after the Jam for Justice in May.

You can join anytime, or you can even participate by being on our email list and helping with the campaigns we work on.

Throughout the fall, we will plan various awareness campaigns, including Peace Day, Fair Trade Marketplace (Chocolate!) & the Write for Rights campaign.  Second semester, we focus our attention on planning the Jam for Justice.  We also host speakers and film screenings throughout the year.

    All students are welcome.
