TICKET SALES

All tickets must be purchased online through 5 Star from Monday, April 17th at 8 a.m. until Monday, April 24th at 4 p.m. We cannot accommodate late purchases. Tickets are $120 each. If you need financial assistance, please contact Mr. Verisario (bverisario@dist113.org). There are no refunds on ticket purchases after Friday, May 5th at 3:00 p.m. Should you require a refund prior to the deadline, please email Mr. Verisario (bverisario@dist113.org).

GUESTS

If you are bringing a guest that is a DHS student, you will purchase the ticket through 5 Star. If you are bringing a guest that is from a school other than DHS, you must know their full name and name of school. This form must be completed and submitted to the Deans' Office prior to the event. All guests must be 20 years or younger to attend.

BUS

All attendees will take a coach bus from the Sachs Center to Prom and back. You must arrive and check-in between 5:45p.m. - 6:15p.m. Buses will leave promptly at 6:30p.m. Buses will return to the Sachs Center at approximately midnight.

The Deans’ Office is here to help ensure that everyone has a safe and fun Prom experience.  As we do every morning now, students will scan in to gain entry to the event. Please have your school ID or IC App available. One additional measure we will be taking to ensure everyone’s safety is to conduct a search of purses/bags, coat/jackets and all pockets (pulled out) before boarding the bus. We appreciate your patience as we get you to Prom safely.

 

MENU

While we will not be serving items with peanuts or tree nuts and can try to accommodate special requests for meals that don't contain other allergens, the Sheraton Grand Chicago has a shared kitchen where traces of all allergens and cross contamination are possible. Please contact Mrs. Brownell at mbrownell@dist113.org or Mrs. Doktor at kdoktor@dist113.org for allergy related questions.

 

Salad:

  • Hearts of romaine, toybox cherry tomato, toasted garlic croutons, shaved parmesan cheese, Caesar and Lemon Vinaigrette dressing

Entrees (choice of one):

  • Chicken breast, cipollini onions, truffled fingerling potatoes, broccolini, and herb baby carrots, mushroom red wine demi (GF)

  • Petite filet, truffled parmesan mashed potatoes, herb baby carrots, roasted zucchini, smoked tomato reduction (GF)

  • Vegetarian spinach & cheese filled ravioli, crispy artichokes, leek ragout, red pepper coulis

  • Vegan grilled tofu, bok choy, jasmin rice, stir fried veggies

Desserts (alternating):

  • Chocolate ganache tart, caramel drizzle and vanilla cream

  • New York style cheesecake, mixed berry compote

Table sign up will occur IN PERSON on Wednesday May 3rd during lunch periods. More details are available on this form.

 

PROM COURT

Nomination forms will be sent through student email on April 28th and are due May 2nd. All nominations must include correctly spelled first and last names.
