Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) SAT

During the spring of 2024, all 11th graders will take the SAT as part of a state-mandated accountability and progress measure.  The ISBE School Day SAT is a graduation requirement for high school students in Illinois. A weekend SAT does not satisfy the graduation requirement.  

District 113 is committed to the SAT suite of assessments (PSAT, PSAT 8/9, PSAT 10 and SAT) as our students' performances over these annual experiences will provide valuable longitudinal data regarding skill development and potential curricular gaps.  Furthermore, the State of Illinois has now adopted the SAT as our students' accountability measure each spring.  Experience with the SAT suite of assessments stands as a good preparation for this measure.  You may contact Matthew Wallace (mwallace@dist113.org), Assistant Principal for any questions you have regarding these assessments.
