    • a process such as a set of questions or thinking routine, used to proactively seek to eliminate inequities and advance equity;
    • identifies clear goals, objectives adn engages our community in decision-making processes.


    B.R.A.V.E.

    B = Stop and Breathe. Did you take a breath before you reacted?

    R = Did you really hear what was said? Relay back what you heard or saw

    A = Build your Awareness.  Did you Ask a question before you offered your opinion?

    V = Can you see the usefulness, importance or Value in what you heard? Even if you didn't like it, you can use it as a learning opportunity.

    E = what is required to work toward Explicit Empathy?
