    Testing Accommodations

Students with a 504 Plan or an IEP that provides testing accommodations for standardized assessments are eligible for CollegeBoard testing accommodations. CollegeBoard administers the PSAT 8/9, PSAT10, PSAT/NMSQT, SAT, and Advanced Placement exams. If your student has already been approved for a CollegeBoard accommodation or has a request pending, there is no need to take any additional action.

Even if your student has testing accommodations authorized in their 504 Plan or IEP, we need to request approval from CollegeBoard to apply those or similar accommodations to College Board tests.

If your student has testing accommodations on their 504 Plan or IEP and wants to apply for similar accommodations on CollegeBoard exams, the District Testing Accommodations Coordinator, Mr. Jeff Rubin, will submit your student's request. Please contact him at
jrubin@dist113.org for further information. The review process can take up to 8 weeks and sometimes longer. The sooner we start the process, the better.

Please note that College Board accommodations do not apply to ACT.  ACT is a separate organization from CollegeBoard and has its own accommodation approval process.
