DHS-TV

  • DHS-TV is the club for filmmakers and video journalists. Come learn how to write, direct, shoot, and edit videos in our film and TV studio. We have lots of professional gear to meet your filmmaking needs: students will film on 4K and 1080p and 4K camcorders, cinema cameras, and studio cameras. We have a choice of edit stations, including Apple Final Cut Pro X and Adobe Premiere. Our TV control room utilizes a 4K live switcher with professional mixing audio board, and out in the field and in the studio, students will use shotgun boom and lavaliere microphones and portable lights. In addition to individual projects, the club will support the award-winning all-school news broadcasts that occur, including anchor taping and show editing. Our seasoned veteran and student producers will help coach you and create a friendly and supportive environment for all freshmen-seniors. Whether you are considering learning about film or broadcast journalism, become a digital storyteller and join us!
