FAC Community-Led Counseling Team at HPHS Extended; Counseling for D113 Students | Fechas añadidas para el FAC y el Equipo Asesor Dirigido por la Comunidad en HPHS; Información de consejería D113

Dear District 113 Community, 

This afternoon, the City of Highland Park announced the extension of the Family Assistance Center (FAC) with the FBI and the American Red Cross as well as the community-led counseling team at Highland Park High School through July 15. The FAC and community-led counseling services will be suspended on Sunday to give the community and volunteers a day to rest. Both services will be available on Monday, July 11 through Friday, July 15 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. 

​​All affected individuals and families should feel safe accessing support services at Highland Park High School, regardless of immigration status. More information and the City’s announcement can be found on the City of Highland Park website hpstrong.info. 

For the remainder of the summer, District 113 students will be able to access counseling services each Wednesday at Highland Park High School. More information about how to access those services will be sent Monday to families of current District 113 students.

Esta tarde, la Ciudad de Highland Park anunció la extensión del Centro de Asistencia Familiar (FAC) con el FBI y la Cruz Roja Americana, así como el equipo de asesoramiento dirigido por la comunidad en la Escuela Secundaria de Highland Park hasta el 15 de julio. La FAC y los servicios de consejería dirigidos por la comunidad se suspenderán el domingo para dar un día de descanso a la comunidad y a los voluntarios. Ambos servicios estarán disponibles desde el lunes 11 de julio hasta el viernes 15 de julio de 11 am a 7 pm 

Todas las personas y familias afectadas deben sentirse seguras al acceder a los servicios de apoyo en Highland Park High School, independientemente de su estado migratorio. Se puede encontrar más información y el anuncio de la Ciudad en el sitio web de la Ciudad de Highland Park hpstrong.info.
