Deadline to Complete Survey on School Security Extended to 11:59 p.m., Sunday, May 28

Dear District 113 Parents/Guardians and Students,

The deadline to complete the survey on school security has been extended to 11:59 p.m., Sunday, May 28.

After sending the reminder email yesterday, we received requests asking for the link to be resent. Your opinion on this topic is so important that we want to make sure everyone who wants to participate has the link to respond by the extended deadline.

Beginning Monday, May 22, the survey link will be resent as a text message to all the parents/guardians, students, and staff members who have not yet responded. The research firm has been directed to say in the text: “Click the link to take the D113 survey on school security.”

You may need to adjust your settings on your phone if you have notifications turned off for messages received from numbers that are not in your contact list. Apple has instructions online for turning on and off filtering messages from unknown senders for iPhone. Google advises the following steps for Android phones: Tap “Settings” and then select “Messages.” Scroll down and find “Filter Unknown Senders.” Turn the toggle button to the “off” position by tapping on it.

Again, because FCC regulations require it, each text must be sent manually, so it will take some time to redeploy to all cell phone numbers. We will notify you when redeployment is complete.

Se ha ampliado el plazo para completar la encuesta sobre seguridad escolar hasta las 23:59 horas del domingo 28 de mayo.

Después de enviar el correo electrónico de recordatorio ayer, recibimos solicitudes para volver a enviar el enlace. Su opinión sobre este tema es tan importante que queremos asegurarnos de que todos los que quieran participar tengan el enlace para responder antes de la fecha límite extendida.

A partir del lunes 22 de mayo, el enlace de la encuesta se volverá a enviar como mensaje de texto a todos los padres/tutores, estudiantes y miembros del personal que aún no hayan respondido.
