Update on Counseling Services, Summer School for July 5 | Actualización sobre Servicios de Consejería, Escuela de Verano para el 5 de julio

Good evening,

We continue to grieve the victims of today's horrific shooting at Highland Park, and we are working with our Highland Park partners to offer counseling support tomorrow to students, staff, and community members at Highland Park High School. Please see this joint communication from the City of Highland Park, North Shore District 112, and District 113, sent by the City of Highland Park earlier this evening. 

Counseling services will also be available tomorrow for District 113 students and staff only at Deerfield High School from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m..

Although we realize the importance of a regular routine in cases like this, we also recognize that our students and staff may need counseling support. Therefore, tomorrow, July 5, summer school classes will not run. Deerfield High School will be open for all District 113 students and staff who want to seek counseling support. 

Please note that the school bookstores will not be open for students or families on an in-person basis tomorrow.

Seguimos llorando a las víctimas del horrible tiroteo de hoy en Highland Park, y estamos trabajando con nuestros socios de Highland Park para ofrecer apoyo de asesoramiento mañana a los estudiantes, el personal y los miembros de la comunidad en Highland Park High School. Consulte esta comunicación conjunta de la ciudad de Highland Park, el distrito 112 de North Shore y el distrito 113, enviada por la ciudad de Highland Park esta noche. 

Los servicios de asesoramiento también estarán disponibles mañana para los estudiantes y el personal del Distrito 113 solo en Deerfield High School de 9:00 a 2:00.

Aunque nos damos cuenta de la importancia de una rutina regular en casos como este, también reconocemos que nuestros estudiantes y el personal pueden necesitar apoyo de consejería.
