After a losing to Vernon Hills squad just days before the varsity team rebounded and posted a season's best score in the North Gym on Thursday, January 16th.

The uneven bar lineup for Deerfield poured it on -taking the top 5 spots in the meet. Again Emma Kerstein and Joie Platt led the way followed by junior Serafina Gargiulo, sophomores Hannah Agins and Riley Soroka. The bar team's effort earned them a score of 33.6 widening the gap between the two squads.
After a solid performance on the balance beam the team posted a 34.05. Again taking the top 5 spots on the event.
With the last event, floor exercise, to be performed the lady warriors were poised to capture another CSL dual meet victory which became evident with outstanding performances from the trio of seniors Joie Platt, Emma Kerstein and Jenna Ritzert. Great job, girls.
