Wrestlers win 10th Conference Title in a Row

This year one of our goals was to win the conference for the 10th straight year, making it the "Decade of Dominance."  I am proud to say that we achieved that goal by going undefeated in conference for the 9th straight year (Our first year we shared the title with Maine West).  We have gone over 45 duals in the conference without losing. Our alumni had worked hard to pave the way for the success of our program and make hard work and sacrifice an expectation.  It is can be very difficult to sustain a winning tradition in anything, but especially a sport like wrestling.  We saw just how difficult this can be going into this year as we lost many starters after last year due to graduation, transfers, and unfortunately, this year, to injury. We have lost 4 wrestlers with varsity experience this year due to injury.  Two of whom were ranked in the state in their respective weight classes.  We wrestled most of our conference meets this year with only had 2 returning starters in our varsity lineup from the year before.  We still found a way to get it done.
