Wrestlers qualify for state

I just wanted to say how proud I am of the accomplishments of our wrestling program.  We won our Regional for the 3rd straight year and qualified 10 wrestlers to Sectionals,  All 10 wrestlers won matches at Sectionals this weekend.  We had 5 wrestlers qualify for the state tournament.

Kyle Clough      3rd  (qualified for state in 2014-2015 also)

Aaron Brailov    4th

Kenny Kerstein 1st  (2 years in a row)

 

 

Here are some interesting facts about our wrestling program:

All 14 wrestlers who were in the conference tournament were named all-conference (1st time this has been accomplished)

We are the smallest school in enrollment in our Sectional but we have come in first in the (unofficial) team score (2017 Sectional result below) 2 of the last 3 years (last year we were second).

 

We have qualified wrestlers for the state tournament in 11 straight years.  The last 10 years we have had multiple qualifiers.
