Wrestlers Qualify for Team State

The wrestling team won the rematch with Barrington on Tuesday, February 21st. The first dual with Barrington over winter break was a 1 point dual.  We pulled it out by a score of 28-27.  The second time around, after much preparation, against a well-coached Barrington team, our Warriors won 40-25.  Freshmen Cody Goodman avenged 3 earlier losses and beat his opponent at 220 weight class, to start us out with 6 consecutive wins.  Our Warrior wrestlers really wrestled well as they earned a trip to team state at ISU.
