Varsity Wins Conference for 8th Straight Year!!!

Our Varsity, JV, and Freshmen wrestling teams repeated as conference champions. For the varsity wrestling team this is the 8th Conference Championship in a row. In addition, the wrestlers won the entire 12 team CSL tournament. I am also very proud that a Deerfield Wrestler has been voted by the coaches as the Most Outstanding Wrestler in the CSL Conference for the North Division for 9 out of the last 10 years and 8 years in a row. This year the honor goes to 170 pound 2x state qualifier and 2x conference champion, Sage Heller.

Even though this was by far our toughest schedule we were still able to finish the season with a 26-3 record. We are currently ranked 7th in state.

I wanted to thank everyone for their continued support through what has been a very tough season in many ways and one that I will learn a great deal from in future seasons.
