Dear 113 Colleagues and Families,
After consulting with the AccuWeather meteorologist at 4:45 AM, today will be an in-person learning day. We will continue to monitor the weather for after-school extracurricular activities and athletics. Any changes to after-school activities and athletics will be communicated this afternoon.
Our top priority is always the safety of our students and staff, and we take this responsibility very seriously. During the winter, I check the weather forecast daily. When a winter storm is forecasted, I check it dozens of times. I use the most up-to-date information and consult with superintendents in the area to determine whether our students and staff can travel to school safely and then travel back home safely.
I appreciate your patience and understanding during this unpredictable weather event.
