• District 113 Adult Education is grant-funded and offers no-cost English as a Second Language, Adult Basic Education, Adult Secondary Education, Citizenship Preparation, Introduction to Healthcare Careers, and Illinois High School Equivalency (GED®) Preparation in English and Spanish classes for adults 16 years of age and older. Instruction throughout all levels is focused on addressing basic literacy and academic skills, English language acquisition, digital literacy and keyboarding skills, rights and responsibilities of citizenship and civic participation, as well as employment and workforce preparation skills.
