Hello! This is my first year at DHS, and I am so excited to be a part of the Warrior community!

I attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where I double majored in chemistry and materials science and engineering. During this time, I was involved in undergraduate research focused on drug delivery and gene therapy. Although I enjoyed running experiments and learning about the nature of science, I decided to pursue a new path as a teacher. I then obtained my Master of Science in Education from Northwestern University. This year, I teach Standard Biology and Standard Chemistry. 

In my spare time, I enjoy biking, drawing, embroidering, and spending time in nature.
