Our local Lions Club is starting a Leo’s Club at HPHS to get high school students involved in community service close to home in Highland Park and Highwood. Our mission at the Highland Park – Highwood Lions Club is to serve people all over the world by offering assistance to visually and hearing impaired persons and also focusing on ending the diabetes epidemic worldwide.
The Leo’s Club will meet on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month at 7:30AM in Library Lab 1 during the school year. The Leo’s Club will pick a service project to plan and complete in Highland Park and/or Highwood. This is an awesome resume building opportunity and a great way to give back to the community.
HPHS Leo’s Club is not officially sponsored by Highland Park High School. HPHS Leo’s Club is sponsored by the Highland Park – Highwood Lions Club. All questions or concerns about the membership, purpose, and decisions for the HPHS Leo’s Club should be directed to Rob Sabo, Secretary of the Highland Park – Highwood Lions Club at firstname.lastname@example.org.
