Pesticide and Lawn Treatment Notice – Deerfield High School, 1959 Waukegan Road, Deerfield, IL 60015
As part of scheduled grounds maintenance, Deerfield High School will have lawn and landscape treatment services performed on Monday, October 12, 2026, weather permitting.
These services will be performed by our licensed vendor, Lawn Squad, to support the health and long-term condition of our campus grounds as we move into the fall season.
Scope of Services:
- Targeted weed control in turf areas, landscape areas, along fence lines, and other affected areas as needed
- Continued fall turf fertilization
Safety and Compliance:
- All pesticide applications will be performed by certified professionals in accordance with applicable Illinois regulations, manufacturer label instructions, and Township High School District 113 Integrated Pest Management practices.
- Lawn treatment markers will be placed at the usual points of entry to treated areas. Students, staff, and visitors must follow all posted re-entry instructions and remain off treated grass until dry.
- Access to treated areas will be restricted as necessary.
- Safety Data Sheets are available upon request.
Integrated Pest Management Notice:
Township High School District 113 follows Integrated Pest Management practices that combine preventive techniques with the responsible use of products selected to minimize risks to human health and the environment. The District provides notification at least four business days before scheduled pesticide applications.
