This Tier III Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) intervention course provides intensive, individualized support for students demonstrating significant needs in executive functioning, self-regulation, and study skills. The course focuses on explicitly teaching and reinforcing skills related to organization, time management, goal setting, attendance, and behavioral self-monitoring, while supporting students in developing strategies to improve academic engagement and persistence.
Student progress is monitored through weekly tracking of attendance, behavioral referrals, and organizational skill development. Eligibility and ongoing instructional decision-making are informed by multiple data points, including attendance records, behavioral and non-attendance referrals, Panorama survey results, STAR assessment data, and academic performance, ensuring targeted, data-driven intervention aligned with student needs.
