District 113 educates approximately 3,300 students at its two nationally ranked high schools, Deerfield High School and Highland Park High School. As part of the scheduled master facilities planning process, the September 2021 demography report was conducted. The demography report forecasts continued declining enrollment, projecting a decrease of 10% in the next 7-10 years. By 2030, the demographer estimates enrollment to settle around 2,900 students compared to 3,781 in 2014. An October 2021 demography report was conducted in conjunction with North Shore School District 112 and Bannockburn School District 106, and it projects District 113 enrollment to be 2,950 in school year 2030-31.
