The District is in the process of adjusting bus route assignments to accommodate the increased number of students participating in in-person learning. With this in mind, parents/guardians who chose in-person learning and qualify for transportation will be able to view their bus information in the Infinite Campus portal by April 5. Only students residing 1.5 miles or more from school are eligible for bus services. This does not apply to students with transportation as part of their IEP.
The Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE), in conjunction with The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH), limits bus capacity to no more than 50 people. With the increased number of students coming to campus, we anticipate there to be approximately 44 students per bus, which aligns with the joint guidance from the IDPH and ISBE.
Prior to boarding the bus in the morning, parents/guardians must certify their student(s) using the Health Screening app every day.
All busses will be sanitized using electrostatic sprayers after each run.
