On April 14, 2020, all 9th and 10th graders will take the PSAT 8/9 or PSAT 10 as part of a state-mandated accountability and progress measure. These tests are required, and, as a result, no classes will be held on this day. Classes, on the following day, April 10, will start late in order to allow students receiving test accommodations to properly finish testing.
District 113 is committing to the SAT suite of assessments (PSAT, PSAT 8/9, PSAT 10, and SAT) as our students’ performances over these annual experiences will provide valuable longitudinal data regarding skill development and potential curricular gaps. Furthermore, the state of Illinois has now adopted the SAT as our students’ accountability measure each spring. Experience with the SAT suite of assessments stands as good preparation for this measure.
