National Language Exams
The National Language Examinations are online, standardized assessment tools for grades 6-12, given voluntarily by about 4000 teachers throughout the United States to measure proficiency and achievement of students who are studying Spanish, Italian and French as a second language.
The purpose of National Examination is:
- to recognize achievement in the study of language.
- to demonstrate proficiency in a second language as related to national standards.
- to stimulate further interest in the teaching and learning of a language.
In addition many teachers use this exam to help prepare students to take other standardized test such as AP and college placement exams.
Students have the opportunity to receive National Recognition, Awards and Scholarships for outstanding achievement.
2019-2020 Registration opens January 6, 2020 Thru January 22, 2020. *Registration deadline has been extended to January 24, 2020.
