• 2020 Fall Baseball Contact information

We are excited to get going in our fall workouts next week!!   The athletic department sent information to students and parents last night providing details about the expectations to participate this fall.  Please go to the Athletic Department website to enroll and complete the necessary information.  IF you are a multi-sport athlete you need to enroll in all the sports you participate in.  Your enrollment will provide a sport roster for us as coaches.

    **** Important****
    • You need to have an updated physical exam for this school year to participate this fall!!   Follow the athletic department directions to submit all paperwork.
    • Athletics needs the attached scrimmage waiver form signed by you and your parent(s) to be turned in (to me) on our 1st day of practice next Wednesday 9/9.
    • Health Screening questions have changed since summer camp.  You will be asked questions by staff prior to going to the field.  You can pre-screen for Covid questions by adding our district app to pre-certify yourself before you get to the check in station.
    • You have to Register for baseball and have your physical and waiver paperwork completed for day 1!!
    • We will follow all safety protocols like in the summer camp.
    • Bring your own water(plenty of it)/gear to use at the field.

The contact days will look different from the summer camp.  All players need to wear baseball pants, a Deerfield baseball shirt/jersey and hat.  (Freshmen, if you do not have program attire please wear a college or minor/major league item).    Our practices will be skill/drill based with our program concepts/terminology being taught.  We will create competitive experiences for you in our practice sessions.   You can expect an atmosphere on the field as it would be in the spring.

Go to Documents for the waiver form and our practice dates and times.  All practices during the weekdays will begin at 4pm until 6pm.  Saturday practices will begin at 10am until 12pm.  Any cancellations of a practice will be announced using remind and your school email.

  • Congratulations to the Following Warriors!

Our program takes great pride in watching our seniors continue their baseball careers after graduating!  We are proud of Ryan Nagelbach playing at University of Illinois at Chicago and Adam Pottinger playing at Triton College.  We look forward to watching you both in the years to come.  Always Warriors!!
