I have been an employee of District 113 for the past 18 years and a staff member here at DHS for the past 19 years working in the Fine Arts department in the Visual Art program. My forte is Graphic Design, but I have also taught or are currently teaching; Intro to Ceramics, Photography, Intro to Art, and/or Yearbook (O*YAD). I am currently a sponsor for O*YAD and love watching the students create a publication that will be meaningful decades later in their lives and the proud sponsor of GEM (Gender Equality Movement). I still stay very active with the school and enjoy watching my students participate in all extracurricular activities. I have 4 children, two in college and two in high school. I try to be a positive role model at home and in the building and I am one of the members of the Warrior Way. I love what I do and I can only hope the positive vibe I give off in class and throughout the building rubs off on everyone I come in contact with.
