Junior AM Parent/Guardian Meeting

Dear Parents/Guardians of Juniors,

Kristen Doktor and Kim Wiley, DHS College Counselors, hold informal meetings during second semester in the CCRC to answer questions and present information related to the college process. We discuss topics covered from the formal college evening programs in greater detail. Any parents/guardians of juniors are welcome, and attendance is not required. 

This month's meeting will be held from 7:45-8:45 AM on Wednesday, January 25th.

This meeting will focus on:

• College and Junior Year: where to begin and how to keep calm! 
• Choosing courses for senior year 

The day after the meeting, any handouts or notes will be posted on the CCRC website (go to the DHS website: Student and Family Resources, College Counseling, Juniors-Class of 2018). 

If you are able to attend, we ask that you please park in the rear lot, east of the building.  Because our meeting time coincides with the peak time families are dropping off their students at the main entrance, the added traffic creates significant congestion.  There will be plenty of parking available in the back lot.

*Security Procedures:  Visitors will need to leave an ID with security and it will be returned when you leave the building.  Please provide 10-15 minutes to park & check in.  To ensure that our visitors are readily identifiable, visitors cleared by the security system will be issued an orange name badge and lanyard that must be visibly worn while in the school and returned to the security vestibule upon leaving.
