Athletics matter -- and the student-athletes of HPHS are in need of community support.
 

Each year the Giants Club provides thousands of dollars to the athletic department to be distributed at their discretion.  Over the last 4 years, we raised over $245,000 for the athletic department to help fund:

  • CSL leadership conference
  • New bleachers
  • Trophy cases
  • Outdoor track
  • Summer programs
  • Cardio equipment
  • Speakers for athletic events
  • Home run fences
  • Lighting in Ex & IM gyms

  • Windscreens for ball diamonds
  • Volleyball Nets

 Giants Club meetings will be held quarterly on the following Mondays:  September 15, 2008, November 17, 2008, March 9, 2009 and May 11, 2009.  meetings begin at 7:00 pm in room A217.  The following meeting minutes are available:

Fundraising
Over the past three years, the Giants Club has raised over $225,000 for the benefit of the athletic programs that support our student athletes and facilities! Our fundraising goals are achieved by participation in the annual Giants Golf Scramble and purchases of Giants Club Memberships, Giants Sportswear, Yard Signs and ad space on the Rotating Ad Sign at Wolter's Field and in the Exhibition Gym. Plans for this year’s fundraising efforts are underway, and new ideas are welcome.

Giants Sportswear
The Giants Club also raises funds through a wide variety of top-quality merchandise sales, ranging from sweatpants and sweatshirts, stadium chairs and blankets.

Membership Fees
A significant portion of Giants Club funds comes from membership dues.  You can purchase three levels of membership (each level purchased annually):

GOLD $300 – Includes the following:

  • Free admission to home games
  • Giants Club sticker
  • 10% discount off of all purchases from the Giant Club store
  • Giants Club premium item
  • Preferred UP CLOSE Parking pass at Giants football home games
  • 50% of dues donated to team of your choice
    •

    SILVER $150 – Includes the following:

  • Free admission to home games
  • Giants Club sticker
  • 10% discount off of all purchases from the Giant Club store
  • 50% of dues donated to team of your choice
    •

    BRONZE $50 - Includes the following:

  • Free admission to home games
  • Giants Club sticker
  • 10% discount off of all purchases from the Giant Club store
    •

    Giants Golf Scramble
    Thank you to all who have made our 2007 golf scramble a success. The funds raised will be used to help our athletic programs. Our 2008 Golf Scramble will be on October 13, 2008.  We hope to see you there.
