Young Adults

Outstanding Books for the College Bound and Life Long Learners -- Created by the American Library Association, this list is divided into five sections:  fiction, biography, nonfiction, drama, and poetry.

Best Books for Young Adults--The annual list of books compiled by a committee of the Young Adult Library Services Association consists of fiction and nonfiction appropriate for young adults ages 12 to 18.  The titles span a variety of subjects as well as a broad range of reading levels.

Quick Picks for Reluctant Young Adult Readers--Lists of books that teens, ages twelve to eighteen, will pick up on their own and read for pleasure. The list is geared to the teenager who, for whatever reason, does not like to read.
