Online Databases

…are accessed through the library homepage from both school and home. The most helpful for this project are:

Discovering Collection – text only but very helpful in creating timelines and giving background information.
History Reference Center – text and some photos.
Electric Library – great source for photos – turn off other formats before searching.

If you are working from home be sure to pick up a password sheet from the Library.

Free Internet Images:

In addition to searching through Google Images and Ditto.com, try the Digital Collections on the library homepage. From the main page, choose SUBJECT LINKS à IMAGES AND CLIP ART à AND DIGITAL COLLECTIONS
