Dear Parents and Guardians:
Last year, the district implemented an alert system used to keep
you informed about weather related school closings or delays,
and school day emergencies. While we feel that this system has
helped us communicate with families and staff, we recognize that
it is only beneficial if we have current contact information.
This message serves two purposes. One is to ask you to make
sure that your information included in our Honeywell Alert
System is current. You may access your information by going to
the Honeywell web site at
https://instantalert.honeywell.com and using your login and
password. Please make sure that all your children who currently
attend either Deerfield or Highland Park High School are listed
at the bottom of the page in a box on the right hand side. If
they are not, please contact your child’s school so records can
be merged.
Secondly, we want to let you know that we will be testing the
Honeywell System on October 23 by sending voice, e-mail and text
messages to the numbers and addresses you have designated on
your contact information.
Please make sure your record is up-to-date so we can communicate
important school information to you in a timely and efficient
manner.
