After the
first year, students may elect to take language courses at
an accelerated pace. To enroll in Level I courses a "B"
average in the previous semester is recommended. Students in
the Level I sections have a more intense language experience
that leads to a greater degree of proficiency.
All first and
second year language students may be required to attend
language laboratory one period per week in addition to the
five regularly scheduled class periods. All third, fourth,
and fifth year language students are required to attend
language laboratory one period per week in addition to five
regularly scheduled class periods.
A passing
grade in the first semester of each year is required to
continue into the second semester. Textbooks are required
for all courses. |
