ORAL HISTORIES ONLINE

Check out these links at our computer station:

SERVE THOSE WHO SERVE

Participate in these service projects to give something back to those who serve:

· Send movies & music to troops—see info table or www.movies4troops.com/

· Send correspondence to servicemembers:  Send “Thank You” postcards or  email.

· Sending care packages This site gives you a huge list of possible agencies.  Carefully consider these or other choices before you act.  Consult with your parents/guardians or perhaps bring this idea back to your homeroom as a group project.

· Do more:  Visit our service stations, where members of the Deerfield community are generously sharing their projects—local projects you can get involved in.   See also the American Legion site.
