Each laboratory science class at Deerfield High School meets four
times per week, for three 57-minute
periods and one, extended,
89-minute laboratory period.
However, Advanced Placement
classes have two laboratory
periods per week in order to
meet the minimum time requirements
of an A.P. course outlined
by the College Board.
