STUDENT ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS (SAP)
The Student Assistance Program provides a comprehensive model for the delivery of prevention, intervention and support. Student assistance services are designed to reduce student risk factors, promote protective factors and increase asset development.
In February and March, 2002, District 113 administered two student surveys at Deerfield and Highland Park High Schools.

EMPLOYEE & FAMILY ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS (EFAP)
The district's Employee and Family Assistance Programs provides professional assistance for all employees and their immediate family members for almost any type of personal concern.
Harry Nozicka has been the EFAP consultant since the beginning of the District 113 program. He earned his Master's Degree in Social Work at Loyola University in 1976. He is certified in relationship therapy as well as substance abuse and is licensed as a Clinical Social Worker in the state of Illinois. District 113 selected him as EFAP Consultant because of his background in diverse areas of social work including medical settings, drug treatment, community education, schools, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Harry is a member of the Academy of Certified Social Workers. He has been a committed and dedicated resource for hundreds of District 113 employees and their family members. Harry looks forward to continuing the District 113 tradition of providing high quality services to employees and their families.
