Characteristics of Effective District 113 Educators

Educators in District 113 continually ask questions about their practice and about the impact of that practice on their students’ growth and learning.    Ultimately, it is the continuation of growth that distinguishes and defines what it means to be an “Effective District 113 Educator.”  These “Characteristics” are not a checklist to be mastered but rather they provide the framework for a process that values and supports the learning of all educators in our District.
